This purpose built festival kitchen will host cooking demonstrations by the “godfather of modern cooking” himself – Marco Pierre White.
Given the huge interest in Marco’s first public New Zealand appearances, we are creating a space where over 400 people can see the master at work, upstairs at Shed 10 on Queens Wharf. We have partnered with luxury appliance brands SUB ZERO & WOLF to ensure Marco has only the very best equipment to work with. Plus there will be two large screens to ensure you can see all the action.
Marco was the youngest chef to earn 3 Michelin Stars, he taught outstanding chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Heston Blumenthal and Curtis Stone and now he is here at Taste of Auckland to show you how to cook his famous Risottos – Saffron, Seafood and Wild Mushroom.
The best part? Entrance to the SUB ZERO & WOLF Living Kitchen for Marco’s demonstrations is FREE. That’s right, no matter what festival entry ticket you purchase there will be no additional charge to enter the SUB ZERO & WOLF Living Kitchen. Just arrive early to get a good seat.
Marco’s demonstrations will take place at these times:
Friday Evening (Session 3): 7pm
Saturday Afternoon (Session 4): 2pm
Saturday Evening (Session 5): 7pm
Each demonstration will last approximately 30 – 45 minutes.
