Blackenbrook Nelson Gewurztraminer 2016

Taste & Other Notes

Oily and textural in the mouth the wine is simply packed with flavour. This wine may be packed with flavour but it isn’t too heavy, rather it is opulent without being cloying and has lovely acidity in the very long finish.

Blackenbrook put a huge effort into producing perfect fruit then handling it in a very gentle manner, this results in their wines having a certain purity of flavour I just love. The wines are true to variety, beautifully made and always very good in the glass.
