Little Biddy Vodka – Kiwifruit

Made using fresh New Zealand Kiwifruit, foraged kawakawa and a twist of caramelised limes the spicy kawakawa and toasted lime flavours are apparent in the upfront flavours with Kiwifruit providing a supporting fruity finish.

While the Kiwifruit may not be dominant if the aromas and flavours it certainly shines in the very long flavour finish.

NOTE: this was tasted straight, without any mixer for the purposes of this review. I think that when served over ice with a dry lemonade or soda and a slice of fresh Kiwifruit or maybe a mint leaf it will make the perfect summer aperitif – or just to enjoy in the late afternoon summer sun.
