The flavours in this wine are beautifully layered, rich black plum with lashings of black pepper and background flavours of green herb spices. While it is rich in flavour with nicely structured fine tannins it's the ripe acids that make it juicy and fresh in the very long finish. A touch of alcohol heat adds another layer to the flavours and textures and enhances the drinking experience rather than detract.
