Medium to full bodied wine with lovely oak and malo characters. Yellow peaches and cream flavours are enticingly fresh and flavoursome. This is a delicious Marlborough Chardonnay with richness and finesse. Producer notes: Full name of the wine is Saint Clair Pioneer Block 11 Cell Block Chardonnay. Gold medal and Trophy for the Best New World White Wine and Trophy for Best of Show at the Japan Wine Challenge 2015 Blend of clone 15 and cone 95. 100 percent barrel fermentation in new French oak, malo fermentation followed by 10 months aging on lees with regular stirring.
