Seifried Estate Winemaker’s Collection Sweet Agnes Riesling 2015

The Sweet Agnes dessert wine from Seifried Estate has to be New Zealand’s most awarded sweet wine. Since 2006 it has been awarded 13 International trophies and 28 Gold medals. In fact it is New Zealand's most internatioanally awarded sweet wine according to the back label of the bottle. It has been named the World’s Best Sweet Wine at the Decanter World Wine Awards five times and this version was the Champion Sweet Wine at last year’s Air New Zealand Wine Awards. Packed with lemon and mandarin characters the intense sweetness is exquisitely balanced with a touch of juicy acidity which means the wine avoids seeming too sweet.
