Old Coach Road Pinot Gris 2015

Taste & Other Notes

When tasted this wine had only been bottled for a week or so and some sulphides from the bottling process were obvious up front initially but blow off in the glass and when the wine has had time to settle they won’t be obvious at all. Flavours are powdery talcum minerality, apples and pears, long dry finish belies the 6.8 rs. A nicely balanced wine that offers a lot more than many Pinot Gris’ on the market for a lot more money.

Pinot Gris is grown on six of Seifried Estate’s eight vineyards, Each vineyard has a relatively small parcel (small by Seifried’s standards) and this wine is one of two blends from across all of the vineyards
