Seifried Estate Winemaker's Collection Gewurztraminer 2015

Made from pressings and free run rather than just free run juice with a very small portion fermented in old oak this has rich flavours layered with floral spiced tropical fruits, lychees, touch of Turkish delight and has a soft oily texture with long off-dry finish. As with other Seifried wines this is about balance with lovely clean fruit, a touch of residual sugar to add texture and clever winemaking resulting in a wine that is delicious to drink and avoids being too oily and heavy as some gewurztraminers can be..
