St Pauli Vineyards Chardonnay 2019

I love this style of chardonnay, rich and packed with flavour but with delightfully fresh acidity and not a hint of overt sulfides in sight, they are just there for complexity. Base fruit flavours of ripe nectarines and yellow peach are enhanced by creamy, vanilla oak characters. A touch of dried fig and minerality that is a hallmark of chardonnay grown on Moutere clay soils add further complexity while a touch of powdery citrus acidity ensures the finish is long and fresh.
