Old Coach Road Lighter Alcohol Riesling 2015

On the palate the wine is dry with firm mineral characters, a lean mid-palate but with delicate citrus characters with long dry juicy finish From the Seifried Estate Redwood Valley vineyard this is a very well balanced wine. Even though this wine has RS 16.8 g/L the low pH balance makes it a beautifully dry wine. This is an excellent wine with the potential to age elegantly and points to a quality wine being achieved with lower alcohol. This is about balance and making sure the ripe, clean fruit from the vineyard gets to the winery before the sugar levels get too high.
